The Block, “It’s Happening!” is a 1.2 Million Square Feet, $250 Million Dollar proposed international entertainment destination development project, located at 2nd Avenue North, between 1900 Street North and 2000 Street North in the City Center of Birmingham Alabama’s Historic Theater District.
WHY THE BLOCK?
The Block will attract over 2.5 million guests annually and generate $133 Million in annual gross sales. It will be developed, managed, owned and operated by The Ultimate Fan, (TUF) a business, land, sports and entertainment development company. Circle West Architects will design The BLOCK as the lead architect and planner. Ladd Real Estate (LRE), the current landowner for most parcels, will be selling their property to TUF, as LRE sees what an incredible opportunity this would be for the city of Birmingham and its people.
